Who We Are

Good Question is led by Ed Madour, a senior technology leader with deep experience across strategy, infrastructure, operations and cybersecurity.

Ed’s worked in complex environments spanning the nonprofit, public and private sectors - leading technology across 10+ countries, managing multimillion-dollar budgets, and advising boards and executives on how to make confident, informed technology decisions.

But Good Question wasn’t built for the top end of town. It’s for the teams that don’t have in-house tech leadership - but still face the same challenges: fragmented systems, unclear risks, AI noise, and vendor fatigue.

"I started Good Question for teams that don’t have the luxury of a full-time CIO - but still have to make real decisions about tech, risk, and how things fit together."

What We Believe

We think good technology decisions shouldn’t be reserved for big teams with big budgets.

That’s why Good Question exists - to make expert, independent advice accessible to those doing good work with limited time, budget or support.

Who We Help

We work with small and medium businesses, nonprofits, and mission-led organisations — especially those without internal tech leadership or a dedicated CIO.

If that’s you, you’re in the right place.

Our Commitment to NFPs

We offer a 25% reduction on all scoped work for eligible not-for-profit organisations.

There’s no application process or special conditions - it’s our way of supporting organisations doing meaningful work with limited resources.

If you're an NFP, it's simple: you'll only be invoiced for 75% of the time we spend.

What We Do

  • Review your systems, vendors, and digital tools to cut waste and reduce risk.

  • Provide clear, practical guidance to improve security, alignment, and efficiency.

  • Support effective AI and system uptake, strategic planning, and governance decisions.

  • Offer independent advice with no sales agenda.
